Burnett Hasn't Thought About Free Agency
25th September, 2008 - 5:14 pm
Toronto Star - A.J. Burnett claims that he hasn't yet thought about where he will pitch next season, according to Toronto Star.

Burnett is expected to opt out of his contract and enter free agency this winter.

"I honestly haven't even thought about it. I told my wife that. We're going to wait until the season's over to even think about it," Burnett said. "I don't even know what I'm worth. I haven't paid any attention to it. I essentially told my agent ... I don't even want to talk to you, man. I just want to go out and pitch."

There have been numerous rumors that the Yankees, whom Burnett faced on Wednesday, could make a strong play for his services. [READ]
