Mets' Maine Will Miss Rest Of Season

New York Daily News - Mets' pitcher John Maine will likely miss the rest of the season because of a bone spur, according to New York Daily News.

Doctors have told Mets" Manager Jerry Manuel that the spur won't cause any additional damage to Maine's right shoulder, but Manuel doesn't want to take a chance.

"I just don't like anybody pitching young with anything," Manuel said. "That's just my hang-up. It's nobody's hang-up but mine." [READ]
