Phillies Clinch NL East

Andrew Perna/RealGM - The Phillies clinched the NL East title on Saturday afternoon with a win over the Nationals.

Philadelphia has a two-game lead over New York in the division with one game left in the regular season.

Jamie Moyer earned the win, allowing one earned run over six innings for the Phils. Their bullpen made things interesting, but closer Brad Lidge got Ryan Zimmerman to ground into a game-ending double-play.

John Lannan went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits for the Nationals. [READ]
