Zambrano Will Have Sunday Off
28th September, 2008 - 10:54 am
Chicago Tribune - Cubs' Manager Lou Piniella has decided to give Carlos Zambrano Sunday off after originally wanting him to pitch a few innings against the Brewers.

Angel Guzman will get the start in his place.

"It's not going to matter because, well, it is going to matter but it's not going to matter," Piniella said.

Chicago will play a role in the NL playoff picture, as Milwaukee is deadlocked with the Mets for the Wild Card berth heading into the final day of the season.

"It'll be interesting to see what happens [Sunday]," Piniella said. "It's amazing how you play 161 games and it comes down to the last game, isn't it? It's unbelievable." [READ]
