Cashman Wants To Return To Yanks

New Yor Post - Brian Cashman has reportedly told the Steinbrenner family that he wants to remain with the Yankees.

An announcement on a new deal could come as soon as Monday, and Cashman confirmed rumors that it's on the horizon.

"Sooner than later," Cashman said. Hal Steinbrenner hasn't made an offer, but Cashman reportedly wants to return to the team and negotiate later.

Cashman is in the final season of a three-year deal that paid him $5.4 million. [READ]
