Oblique Pushes Beckett Back To Game 3
29th September, 2008 - 6:49 am
ESPN - A strained oblique has forced the Red Sox to push Josh Beckett back to Game 3 of the ALDS.

Jon Lester will start Game 1 of Boston's series against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday, followed by Daisuke Matsuzaka on Friday in Game 2.

Beckett is 12-10 with a 4.03 ERA this season.

"I don't think it's frustrating," Francona added. "Things happen and you deal with them and if you deal with them well enough, you handle it. If you don't, you go home." [READ]
