Tigers Staying Away From K-Rod

Canada.com - With Todd Jones retired, the Tigers are in need of a new closer, but Dave Dombrowski said the club will not go after Los Angeles Angels' closer Francisco Rodriguez.

"I don't envision us being a big player in the K-Rod sweepstakes because of the way it stands with the financial situation," Dombrowski said. "We're not going to go out and spend with great liberty." [READ]
