Jays Keeping An On Eye Dodgers' Furcal

Toronto Sun - If the Blue Jays are looking to upgrade offensively at shortstop this winter, the Dodgers' Rafael Furcal could be a serious option.

Furcal played a full game for the first time since having back surgery in May on Wednesday night in L.A.'s win over Chicago in Game 1 on the NLDS.

"Having Rafi back at the top of the lineup certainly makes us whole again," manager Joe Torre said. "I'm much more comfortable with him at the top of the batting order.

"He felt good. I checked with him after the nine innings because it's the first time he has done that (post-surgery)." [READ]
