Teixeira Calls Time With Angels A Vacation
6th October, 2008 - 4:07 pm
Boston Herald - Mark Teixeira insists that he isn't thinking about where he'll play next season as the Angels battle the Red Sox in the ALDS, but his comments might prove otherwise.

"I’ve enjoyed my time (in Anaheim) and it’s a nice place to have a little 2-month vacation for my family," said Teixeira. "I still have to go to work every day, but my family’s enjoying it.

"I’m going to keep my options open, but the only thing I’m worried about is playing the game tonight [Monday]."

The Yankees and Red Sox are expected to go after Teixeira this winter, when we'll find out whether or not his time in Los Angeles was truly just a vacation. [READ]
