Rangers Promote Sundberg To Senior VP

ESPN - The Rangers promoted ex-catcher Jim Sundberg to senior executive vice president on Friday.

Sundberg, who has worked in the club's front office since 2004, will assist team president Nolan Ryan in oversight of the Rangers.

A three-time All-Star and six-time Gold Glove winner, Sundberg played 16 seasons in the majors. [READ]
