Pujols Has Elbow Surgery

St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Cardinals' first baseman and NL MVP candidate Albert Pujols had surgery on troublesome right elbow on Monday.

He had surgery to decompress and relocate the ulnar nerve in the elbow. The joint has given him problems since he strained a ligament there early in 2003.

Pujols will begin rehabbing this week and is expected to make his recovery by spring training. [READ]
