Phillies Advance To First World Series Since 1993

RealGM Staff Report - Behind seven strong innings from Cole Hamels, a 1st inning home run from Jimmy Rollins, and two runs in both the 3rd and the 5th, the Phillies defeated the Dodgers 5-1 to advance to their first World Series since 1993.

Philadelphia busted the game wide open in the top of the 5th after three errors by Rafael Furcal.

Manny Ramirez supplied the Dodgers with their only run of the game in the 6th inning with a solo homer. [READ]
