Report: Boston Gives Manny Partial Playoff Share
17th October, 2008 - 10:56 am
ESPN - The Boston Herald has reported that Red Sox players voted in September to give Manny Ramirez a two-thirds share of playoff money.

Ramirez played roughly two-thirds of the season with Boston before being dealt to Los Angeles minutes before the trade deadline at the end of July.

"Some wanted him to be paid days," the source said according to the report. "It was obviously a somewhat sensitive subject with some guys, but we didn't spend too much time on it. After the vote, we moved on." [READ]
