Wang Throws First Pitch Since Hurting Foot

ESPN - Yankees' pitcher Chien-Ming Wang threw 25 pitches on Friday for the first time since hurting his foot against the Astros in June.

Wang partially tore a tendon and sprained his right foot running the bases on June 15 at Houston.

"It's better. It's good," Wang said of the foot.

The righty was 8-2 with a 4.07 ERA in fifteen starts before his season-ending injury. He threw his pitches from a bullpen mound on Friday. [READ]
