AP - The Red Sox, playing like the defending champs they are, came out swinging and beat the Rays 4-2 Saturday night to force a Game 7 in an ALCS tomorrow night in Tampa Bay, as reported by the Associated Press.

Boston' captain Jason Varitek snapped an 0-for-14 slump with a tiebreaking, sixth-inning solo homer to give the Red Sox a 3-2 lead in the game. [READ]
