Ortiz: I Won't Need Wrist Surgery

Providence Journal - Red Sox slugger David Ortiz says that he will not need surgery on his troublesome left wrist.

"No," Ortiz said. "I'm just going to try to get my hand stronger, chill out for a minute, and come back ready to go like I know how next year."

Ortiz missed forty-five games with a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist this season. [READ]
