Joba's Mother Speaks About Son's DUI

Star-Ledger - The mother of Joba Chamberlain, who can best be described as estranged, made public comments about the pitcher's DUI on Wednesday.

"I think he's gonna try harder," mother Jackie Standley said. "He tries now, but I think he's a pretty focused person."

Chamberlain cut off communication with his mother in November of 2006, despite her routine attempts at reaching out to him. [READ]
