Report: Boston's Lowrie Played With Injury

ESPN - Red Sox rookie infielder Jed Lowrie reportedly played with a sprain and non-displaced fracture in his left wrist down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Lowrie slumped down the stretch and recorded the team's last out in Game 7 of the ALCS in Tampa Bay on Sunday night.

He underwent an MRI on Tuesday, and the injury has already begun to heal itself. [READ]
