| 20th May, 2005 - 3:18 am | Yahoo! - Arizona's star rookie Brad Hasley outpitched Roger Clemens in a successful homecoming, and Luis Gonzalez hit a three-run homer to lead the Diamondbacks to a 6-1 victory over the Astros on Thursday night.
``To have Halsey come out here in his hometown against one of the best pitchers of all-time has to be special for him,'' said Diamondbacks manager Bob Melvin, who was a catcher for Clemens in Boston 12 years ago. ``He is especially tough when you haven't seen him before.''
