Report: White Sox Won't Re-Sign Griffey Jr.

ESPN - According to a report on SI.com, the White Sox will not try to re-sign free agent outfielder Ken Griffey Jr. this winter.

Chicago acquired Griffey from Cincinnati in July for the stretch run. The team held off Minnesota for the AL Central crown, but lost in four games to the Rays in the ALDS.

Griffey hit only .249 with 18 homers and 71 RBIs in 490 at-bats this past season. [READ]
