Marlins Appear Happy With Fredi Gonzalez

Miami Herald - The Marlins haven't discussed a contract extension for manager Fredi Gonzalez, but the team appears happy with his performance during the 2008 season.

Larry Beinfest, the team's president of baseball operations, declined to discuss an extension but said Gonzalez "did a real good job." [READ]
