| 1st November, 2008 - 10:48 am | New York Post - Hank Steinbrenner confirmed on Friday that the Yankees will take a look at free agent slugger Manny Ramirez.
"There's nothing we are not looking at," Steinbrenner told the Associated Press. "And personally, I like Manny. He's one of the greatest hitters in the history of the game. He's a free spirit for sure, but he knows how to win. We like some of the other guys, too. We just don't know yet."
Ramirez hit .332 with 37 homers and 121 RBIs between Boston and Los Angeles this past season. [READ] |
