| 2nd November, 2008 - 5:01 pm | ESPN - Dale Sveum will remain with the Brewers next season after being named the team's hitting coach on Saturday.
"This is something I've always wanted to do," Sveum said. "This has been a passion of mine, and I'm glad Ken [Macha] is giving me the opportunity to do it."
Sveum replaced Ned Yost as Milwaukee's manager with just 12 games left in the regular season and guided them to a 7-5 record.
