Rockies' Holliday, Atkins, Taveras On Block

Denver Post - Colorado GM Dan O'Dowd is looking for a starting pitcher, help in the bullpen, and some young talent on offense but might have to trade Matt Holliday, Garrett Atkins, or Willy Taveras to achieve his goals.

"In an ideal world," O'Dowd said, "we would like to address all of those areas."

The annual general managers' meetings officially kick off on Monday.

"It's about meeting eye-to-eye with certain clubs that you think will fit," O'Dowd said. "But every club has a different mind-set, different needs, and a different agenda, so it can be difficult to trade." [READ]
