Rays Decline Options On Floyd, Miller

Yahoo.com - The Rays on Monday declined their contract options for designated hitter Cliff Floyd and lefthander Trever Miller for the 2009 season, as reported by Yahoo.com.

Floyd would have made $2.75M after batting .268 with 11 home runs and 39 RBI in 72 games this past season.

Miller went 2-0 last season with two saves and a 4.15 ERA over 68 relief appearances. His option was worth $2M. [READ]
