MLB.com - The Brewers submitted a formal offer to CC Sabathia's representatives over the weekend, and it is believed to be worth $100 million.

Milwaukee GM Doug Melvin would not discuss specifics, including whether the team had made a four- or five-year offer.

The Brewers own exclusive negotiating rights with Sabathia through Nov. 13. [READ]
