Post-Dispatch - Cardinals GM John Mozeliak has also engaged the Colorado Rockies in talks for Matt Holliday.

Ryan Ludwick, who is first-year arbitration eligible and had a breakout 2008, is the prime bargaining chip being offered.

The Rockies were initially focused on Colby Rasmus, but they are believed to be looking for a player that can contribute immediately. [READ]
