Holliday To St. Louis Talks Dead?

Rocky Mountain News - Discussions that would send Matt Holliday to the Cardinals appear to be off.

Cardinals' GM John Mozeliak declined to discuss particulars but admitted on Sunday that the idea “is dead.” The Rockies were seeking a package of outfielders Ryan Ludwick and Skip Schumaker and right-handed pitching prospect Mitchell Boggs for Holliday.

Boston, Tampa Bay, and the Yankees also are known to have had interest in Holliday. [READ]
