Cardinals' GM John Mozeliak declined to discuss particulars but admitted on Sunday that the idea “is dead.” The Rockies were seeking a package of outfielders Ryan Ludwick and Skip Schumaker and right-handed pitching prospect Mitchell Boggs for Holliday.
Boston, Tampa Bay, and the Yankees also are known to have had interest in Holliday. [READ] |
