Ortiz Would Like To See Sox Add Bat

Providence Journal - Boston slugger David Ortiz would like to see the team add another bat to the lineup, providing him with help in the order that was lessened by the trade of Manny Ramirez.

"I haven’t really thought about it," Ortiz said of pursuing someone like Mark Teixeira. "We have Mikey [Lowell] and [Kevin] Youk, and Mikey just had his surgery and hopefully he’ll come back healthy. But we definitely need to find another guy who can produce here." [READ]
