Zito's Mother Passes Away After Brief Illness

Mercury News - The mother of Giants' pitcher Barry Zito died early Thursday morning in Los Angeles after a brief illness, the left-hander's publicist confirmed to the Mercury News.

Rev. Roberta Jean Rosser Zito was 65. She is survived by Joe Zito, her husband of 44 years, three children, and one grandchild. [READ]
