Cashman Won't Make Burnett An Offer?

MLB.com - The Yankees haven't been shy this offseason, but they aren't necessarily ready to meet the demands of free-agent A.J. Burnett.

Darek Braunecker, Burnett's agent, has made it known that the pitcher is seeking a five-year contract.

The New York Daily News has reported, citing a baseball executive, that the Yankees aren't likely to send an offer Burnett's way as long as the pitcher insists on inking a five-year pact. [READ]
