Agent Refutes Report Of A's $48M Offer To Furcal

MLB.com - Rafael Furcal's agent claims that a report claiming his client received a $48 million contract offer from the Athletics was incorrect.

However, the agent did confirm Furcal has been offered a four-year deal from an unspecified team.

El Caribe reported that Furcal was offered a four-year, $48 million contract by Oakland, but Paul Kinzer told The Los Angeles Times "The numbers aren't right." [READ]
