Furcal Rejects A's Four-Year Offer

MLB.com - The A's are no longer the front-runners to sign Rafael Furcal, as the free-agent shortstop has rejected their four-year contract offer.

Fox Sports reported that the A's met Furcal's wishes for a four-year deal, but he wants more money. The contract is believed to range between $35 million to $40 million. [READ]
