Source: Yanks Offer Burnett 5-Year Deal

ESPN - The Yankees have reportedly offered free-agent pitcher A.J. Burnett a five-year deal worth $85 million.

Burnett's agent, Darek Braunecker, was believed to be seeking a deal approaching Carlos Zambrano's five-year, $91.5 million contract with the Cubs.

The Braves offered Burnett a four-year deal with a fifth-year option worth a guaranteed $60-65 million before the winter meetings began. [READ]
