Angels Pull Out Of Teixeira Chase

MLB.com - The Angels confirmed to MLB.com on Sunday night that they have pulled out of the bidding for free agent Mark Teixeira's services.

Los Angeles withdrew its offer of roughly $160 million over eight years, and declined to comment on the decision to retract the deal.

The move leaves the Red Sox, Nationals and Orioles in the hunt, while the Yankees are rumored to be considering a jump into the mix. [READ]
