Youkilis Gets Four-Year, $40M Deal

MLB.com - The Red Sox have reportedly avoided arbitration with Kevin Youkilis by agreeing to a four-year, $40 million contract.

The deal reportedly includes an option for the 2013 season as well.

Youkilis wasn't eligible for free agency until after the 2010 season, but established career highs in batting average (.312), homers (29) and RBIs (115) in 2008.
