Could Free Agent Team Win 59 Games?

Wall Street Journal - The Wall Street Journal has put together a team of free agents that, by their calculation, would win 59 games this season.

The mark would be just four fewer wins than Baseball Prospectus has projected for the Pirates in 2009.

Pedro Martinez, Kenny Rogers, Wil Ohman and Keith Foulke highlight the pitchers on the team, while hitters like Ivan Rodriguez, Richie Sexson, Jim Edmonds and Frank Thomas appear in the batting order.
