MLB Inquiring About A-Rod's Drug Use

New York Times - Major League Baseball is looking into the accuracy of statements by Alex Rodriguez regarding his use of performance-enhancing drugs, according to league sources.

League investigators have contacted several of Rodriguez's associates to see if he used performance-enhancing drugs for longer than he admitted.

While questions about the Yankee third baseman's drug use have arisen lately with the release of the book, "A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez," by Selena Roberts, sources revealed that the investigation has been ongoing since the beginning of March. [READ]
