A-Rod Homers On His First Pitch Of 2009

RealGM Staff Report - Alex Rodriguez homered on the first pitch of his first at-bat of the season on Friday night off Baltimore's Jeremy Guthrie.

The shot gave the Yankees a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, with Johnny Damon and Mark Teixeira scoring.

Rodriguez missed the first 28 games of the season following hip surgery in the beginning of March. [READ]
