K-Rod, Bruney Separated By Teammates

ESPN - Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez and Yankees reliever Brian Bruney had to be separated during batting practice on Sunday.

Bruney called Rodriguez "a tired act" on Saturday, and Rodriguez said that Bruney "better keep his mouth shut."

An angry K-Rod could be seen pointing at Bruney before Yankees reliever Jose Veras stepped between them in left field on Sunday.

Mets pitcher Mike Pelfrey also stepped in to separate the pair. [READ]
