Farnsworth Needs Stitches After Dog Bite

Kansas City - Royals reliever Kyle Farnsworth needed stitches in his left hand after breaking up a fight between his two dogs.

"The young one came and butted in," he said of the incident on Tuesday. "It happened this morning. Then the same situation happened again this afternoon. There were two fights, and the second one was worse.

"One of them has an eye that's messed up, and the other one has two puncture wounds in the back of his neck."

The hand injury wasn't expected to affect his availability. [READ]
