Jocketty: Reds In Market For A Hitter

Cincinnati Enquirer - Reds general manager Walt Jocketty says that the team is looking to add a hitter prior to late July's trade deadline.

"I'd say right now we're buyers," he said. "We're looking for a hitter. If we did something, it would probably be to bring in a hitter. Getting Joey (Votto) back is going to help."

Jocketty also denied rumors that the club is dangling starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo in a trade.

"I haven't talked to anyone about Bronson," Jocketty said. [READ]
