| 24th June, 2009 - 7:46 am | Cincinnati Enquirer - Reds general manager Walt Jocketty says that the team is looking to add a hitter prior to late July's trade deadline.
"I'd say right now we're buyers," he said. "We're looking for a hitter. If we did something, it would probably be to bring in a hitter. Getting Joey (Votto) back is going to help."
Jocketty also denied rumors that the club is dangling starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo in a trade.
