Bay Doesn't Want To Touch Home Run Derby Contest

Boston Herald - Jason Bay was involved in the 2005 home run derby contest and it isn't something he wants to revisit.

"I’d never been in a home run hitting contest at any point in my life," Bay said before going 4-for-6 with his 19th homer of the season in last night's 11-3 rout of the Nationals.

"They asked, I thought it would be cool. I didn't homer, but that didn't bother me. It was just that it took away from my enjoyment of being an All-Star for the first time." [READ]
