Beltran's Career Could Hinge On Diagnosis?

New York Daily News - Mets center fielder Carlos Beltran has had a second opinion on his bum right knee.

He recently met with orthopedic surgeon Richard Steadman, who is famous for inventing microfracture knee surgery.

If Beltran undergoes such a procedure, he would likely miss the rest of the season and his career could be placed in jeopardy.

Beltran, 32, had arthroscopic surgery on both knees after the 2007 season. [READ]
