Franco Apologizes To Wright For Comments

ESPN - Mets third baseman David Wright says that he has received an apology from former reliever John Franco.

Franco, who is now a special adviser to the team, criticized Wright's leadership skills during an interview on Sirius XM Radio.

"With all due respect to Johnny, he doesn't know what's going on in this clubhouse," Wright said as he shrugged off the comments.

On Thursday, Wright got a voice mail from Franco with an apology. [READ]
