Sources: A's, Cards Talking Holliday

ESPN - The Cardinals and Athletics have reportedly been talking about a possible trade involving outfielder Matt Holliday.

A person familiar with the situation told ESPN that the odds of the deal taking place are about 50-50.

Holliday is still owed $6 million this season, and Oakland could put themselves in better position to acquire a top prospect if they kick in some money to pay the slugger's salary. [READ]
