Boston Trying Hard To Get Adrian Gonzalez

The Red Sox are reportedly trying hard to acquire first baseman Adrian Gonzalez from the Padres.

A source told the Boston Herald that the Sox are extremely interested, but that they have been rejected by San Diego.

The Padres entered Thursday's action at 37-58, twenty-four games behind the Dodgers in the NL West.
