Cairo Returns To Yankees

BRONX, New York (Ticker) - The New York Yankees signed infielder Miguel Cairo to a one-year contract on Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cairo, 31, spent the 2004 season with the Yankees. Last season, he hit .251 with two home runs and 19 RBI in 100 games with the New York Mets.
