There's no way Matt Holliday is going to get a contract similar to the one Mark Teixeira signed last December.

Holliday's agent, Scott Boras, has likened Holliday to Teixeira in an obvious effort to drive up his value.

A National League general manager told the Boston Globe that Holliday "won't get what Mark Teixeira got. No chance. [John] Lackey may get A.J. Burnett money, but I'm not even sure anyone would go that high."

Teixeira inked a $180 million deal with the Yankees.
