Teams Lining Up To Talk With Lackey

Sporting News - Teams are getting in line to talk with free-agent pitcher John Lackey.

The Angels lose exclusive negotiating rights with the right-hander on Friday, when rumors are expected to pick up.

According to MLB.com, the Mets, Red Sox and Brewers have already had preliminary talks with agent Steve Hilliard.

The Yankees and Mariners are expected to join the party as well. [READ]
